From September 25-27, 2024, the Kick-Off conference of the “Water Security in Africa” (WASA) research program took place in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The conference focused on the exchange between the more than 90 partner institutions within the program, the presentation of the seven funded research projects and the identification of synergies and cross-cutting issues.
